New accounts are treated as suspicious
Every network runs spam heuristics, and a fresh account with no history that immediately posts at volume with links looks exactly like the thing those heuristics exist to catch. The penalty is rarely a ban — it is quieter than that. Your reach is simply throttled and nobody tells you.
This is why the first two weeks feel like shouting into a void even when the content is good.
What warming up actually means
Behave like a person for a while before behaving like a publisher.
- ✓Complete the profile fully — picture, bio, links — before the first post
- ✓Start at one or two posts a day, not ten
- ✓Hold off on external links in the first week or two
- ✓Interact with other accounts genuinely; consumption signals are part of how you are scored
- ✓Build up volume over two to three weeks rather than starting at your target rate
Daily caps are a feature, not a limitation
Every network has a rate above which you start looking automated. AttentionPilot sets a conservative daily cap per network by default for exactly this reason — it is deliberately below what the API would technically let you do.
Raising it is your call, but the throttle it protects you from is invisible and hard to diagnose once it starts.
