One post tells you almost nothing
Reach on any single post is extremely noisy. The same post published twice on different days can differ by an order of magnitude for reasons entirely outside your control. Drawing a conclusion from one result is how people talk themselves out of formats that were working.
Look at groups of ten or more posts of a similar type before deciding anything.
Measure the thing you care about
Views are the easiest number to move and the least connected to outcomes. A post that reaches fifty thousand strangers who will never buy anything is worth less than one that reaches two hundred people in your exact niche.
If you are selling something, the metric that matters is whether attention turns into people who come back. Everything else is a proxy, and proxies drift.
The signal worth chasing
Saves and shares beat likes. A like costs nothing and means little; a save means someone expects to need this again, and a share means someone put their own reputation behind it.
When a post gets disproportionate saves, that topic is worth mining further. That is the closest thing to a reliable signal in this whole business.
