What this guide assumes, and the one idea the rest of it rests on.

The whole system, in one paragraph

Post more often than feels comfortable, on more networks than feels comfortable, and let the results tell you what to keep doing. That is the entire method. Everything after this is detail about how to do that without it eating your week or getting your accounts throttled.

The reason it works is unglamorous: organic reach is a numbers game with a long tail. Most posts do nothing. A small number do disproportionately well, and you cannot reliably predict which in advance — if you could, everyone would only post those. Volume buys you more chances at the tail, and cross-posting multiplies each chance across audiences that barely overlap.

What this guide is not

It is not a growth-hacking list. There is no trick that makes a bad post work, and anyone selling you a follower count is selling you an audience that will not buy anything.

It also will not promise numbers. Any guide quoting you a specific follower count by a specific week is making it up — results depend on your niche, your format and your luck, and the honest answer is that the range is enormous.

What you actually need

Less than people assume. You do not need a studio, a content calendar tool with Gantt charts, or a personal brand strategy document.

  • Accounts on the networks where your buyers already are
  • A way to post to all of them without doing it ten times
  • A rough idea of what you are trying to say
  • The discipline to keep going past the first fortnight, which is where most people stop

Stop writing the same post four times.
